James Ermacora has been a lawyer since 1979. Originally trained and called to the bar as a barrister in a commonwealth jurisdiction, he has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1988 and currently maintains an office in Fort Myers.
Jim's practice concentrates on the defense of serious and complex criminal cases, including ones where the State is seeking the death penalty. An assistant public defender in Charlotte County for three years and a felony supervisor in the Fort Myers office, he has over 44 years of experience and has tried numerous cases to verdict as lead counsel.
Also admitted to the United States District Court in the Middle and Southern Districts, he will accept cases throughout Southwest Florida.
